By placing an order with Classic Printing & Signs, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. They cover business cards and every other custom printed product we make or source for you.
1. Custom work, no cancellations after approval
Every order is made to your specifications and cannot be resold. Once you approve your proof, the order goes to production and cannot be cancelled or changed. Returns are not accepted unless the finished product does not match the proof you approved.
2. Your proof is your sign-off
We email a proof before anything prints. You are responsible for checking spelling, phone numbers, emails, web addresses, layout and color on the proof. Once you approve it, we print it as shown. Errors that appear on an approved proof are not grounds for a free reprint.
3. Your artwork and the rights to it
You confirm that you own or have permission to use every logo, image, font and piece of text you send us, including images made with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Gemini, Midjourney or Canva. You agree to release and indemnify Classic Printing & Signs for any claim that your artwork infringes someone else's trademark, copyright or other rights. We may decline to print artwork that appears to use another company's trademark without permission.
4. AI design conversion
When you check "AI design conversion," we rebuild your AI-made image as a print-ready file free with your business card order. That can include resizing to the correct trim, adding bleed, converting to print (CMYK) color, retyping text in a matching or similar font and redrawing low-resolution logos. The rebuilt file may look slightly different from the original image. You approve the rebuilt version on your proof before it prints. A brand-new design from scratch is a separate design service that we quote before starting.
5. Color and trim
Screens show color in RGB light; presses print in CMYK ink, so printed color will not match every screen exactly. Paper stock, coatings and finishes also change how color looks. Cutting can vary by up to 1/16 inch, which is why text and logos must stay 1/8 inch inside the trim and backgrounds must extend 1/8 inch past it (bleed).
6. Turnaround and shipping
Production time starts after you approve your proof, not when you place the order. Business cards typically take 2 to 4 business days in production plus shipping. Shipping times belong to the carrier, and we are not responsible for carrier delays, weather, or delays caused by suppliers or events outside our control.
7. Payment
Online orders are paid in full at checkout. Shipping is calculated at checkout. Orders do not ship or release for pickup until paid in full.
8. Files we create
Working files, layouts and print-ready files created by Classic Printing & Signs remain our property, and we keep them on file so your reorders match. You may reorder from them at any time. You grant us permission to show photos of the finished printed product in our own marketing unless you tell us in writing not to.
9. Quality guarantee
If your order arrives with a printing or cutting defect, or does not match your approved proof, tell us within 10 days of delivery with photos and we will reprint the affected items or refund them. This covers workmanship only, not damage after delivery or errors that were on an approved proof.
10. Disputes
If a problem comes up, tell us in writing and give us a reasonable chance to make it right. Any dispute that cannot be resolved will be handled in Jefferson County, Alabama.
