Transparent LED Glass Displays
Transparent LED glass displays · Birmingham, AL
Turn your storefront glass into a video screen you can still see through.
Ultra-thin LED panels mount on the inside of a window or glass wall and play bright, full-motion video while the glass stays more than 80% clear. Built for storefronts, restaurants, car showrooms, lobbies and office partitions.
Short answer: A transparent LED display is a set of 3 mm thin LED strips that mounts on the inside of your glass. It plays video at 1,500 to 3,500 nits, bright enough to read through a storefront window, while staying more than 80% see-through. Classic Printing & Signs quotes them from your glass size and a photo of the space.

Know this before you buy
- It's an indoor product. The panels go on the inside of the glass and shine out through it.
- You need power at the window. Plan an outlet or a circuit near the glass, and we'll list the draw in your quote.
- Content matters. Bright subjects on a black background look like they're floating in the window. Full white frames use the most power and block the most view.
- Pitch is a trade-off. Tighter pitch looks sharper up close, wider pitch is clearer to see through and costs less.
- Each project is sized to your glass, so it's quoted per job with a lead time, not sold off the shelf.

Transparent LED questions
What is a transparent LED display?
A transparent LED display is a set of thin strips lined with tiny LEDs that mounts on the inside of a window or glass wall. With content playing, people see bright video and images on the glass. Between the rows of LEDs the glass stays open, so the panel is more than 80% see-through and you keep your view and your daylight.
Can people still see through the window with a transparent LED display?
Yes. The panels are more than 80% transparent. Dark or black areas of your content read as clear glass, which is why animations on a black background look like they are floating in the window.
Is a transparent LED display bright enough for a sunny storefront?
The panels run 1,500 to 3,500 nits, several times brighter than a typical TV, which is what lets them read through a storefront window during the day.
Can a transparent LED display go outside?
No. The panels are rated IP30, which is indoor. They mount on the inside face of the glass and show through it, so the weather never touches them.
How big can a transparent LED display be?
It's built from strips 250 mm (9.8 in) wide and 1,000, 1,200 or 1,500 mm (39, 47 or 59 in) tall, set side by side to fill the glass. Strips can be cut on site and flex to fit curved or cylindrical glass.
How much does it weigh and how much power does it use?
About 3 to 5 kg per square meter (0.6 to 1 lb per square foot). Power runs about 200 watts per square meter on average (about 19 W per sq ft) and up to 650 W per square meter (about 60 W per sq ft) at full white, on 100 to 240V AC. We list the draw in your quote so your electrician can plan the circuit.
What's the difference between P3.91 and P6.25?
The number is the distance between pixels in millimeters. A smaller pitch like P2.6 or P3.91 looks sharper up close. A larger pitch like P6.25 is more see-through and costs less, and it works well for windows viewed from the sidewalk or the street.
What do I need to send for a transparent LED quote?
The width and height of the glass, a photo of the window or wall, where the nearest power is, how far away people will be looking from, and what you want to show. Tell us if you want it stuck to the glass, hung or floor-standing, and if you need help making the content.
