6" x 9" is the jumbo postcard that stands out in a mailbox. It has room for a big photo, an offer and a map, so it is a top pick for neighborhood mailers, open house invitations and grand opening announcements.

File setup

Send a PDF at the finished size plus 1/8" bleed on every side, with text and logos at least 1/8" inside the trim. Outline or embed fonts. A 300 dpi PNG or JPG also works. If your file came from an AI tool or Canva, upload it anyway; we check every file and tell you before we print if something needs fixing.

Questions

What size should I build my postcard file?

Build at the finished size plus 1/8" bleed on every side (a 4" x 6" postcard is 4.25" x 6.25"), and keep text at least 1/8" inside the trim. Export a PDF with fonts outlined or embedded.

Which paper is best for mailing?

14 pt. gloss or 16 pt. premium matte. Both are stiff enough for USPS. Choose uncoated or matte if someone needs to write on the card.

Do you mail postcards for me?

We print and ship them to you or you pick them up in Birmingham. If you need addressing or EDDM drop-off, ask us for a quote before you order.

Do I get a proof before you print?

Yes. We check every file and email a proof. Nothing prints until you approve it.

Can I pick up my order?

Yes. Pick up free at our shop at 924 6th Ave N in Birmingham, AL, or we ship anywhere in the US.
